BrickWars Sets Description

The Lego 30053 Venator-class Republic Attack Cruiser was a capital ship used by the Galactic Republic during the Clone Wars. It is the predecessor of the Imperial Star Destroyer. It was manufactured by Kuat Drive Yards and Allanteen Six Shipyards. These capital ships were used extensively by the Republic to engage Separatist fleets in many star systems. It was primarily used for ship-to-ship combat, but also served as a starfighter carrier and troop transport. The Venator-class Star Destroyer was armed with DBY-827 heavy dual turbolaser turrets, medium dual turbolaser cannons, point-defense laser cannons, and heavy proton torpedo tubes. Being a warship, gunners and pilots onboard could divert the majority of its reactor power to its heavy turbolasers in order to inflict massive damage.
