BrickWars Sets Description Lego Star Wars 4478 Geonosian Fighter was a predecessor to the Geonosian Starfighter, and used by the Confederacy in the Clone Wars. Also known as the beak wing fighter, was manufactured exclusively for the Geonosians to protect their territories against intruders. The needle nosed fighter had great speed and agility and designed specifically for pilots of the Geonosian species. The fighter is constructed of strands of pliable steel and the material was heated and wrapped around the inner components of the craft, producing a strong aerodynamic frame withstanding heavy amounts of impact. Upon completion of the frame, the craft was fitted with magnetic hard points for mounting of engines and weapons. The mounts were modular in design allowing for various components to be installed, such as advanced sensor suites and booster rockets suited for the mission. The Geonosian fighter measured 9.8 meters in length, width 1.9 meters and 2.2 meters in height and has a maximum speed of 20,000 kilometers per hour. The main weapon, a turret mounted laser cannon nestled between its forward needle-like mandibles and held within a magnetic bracket, allowing changes of weaponry as conditions warranted.

Reviews Posted January 31, 2009 by Adam, United States I am going to talk about the Geonosian Fighter set number 4478. This is an awsome set for the fighter, cannon and the figures. First off this set took me 20 mins to build and the set was for a good price,The main thing about the set was the figures it comes with very rare figures, the 2 geonosians and the battle droids(Geonosian). The fighter was very detailed and the so was the cannon. The problem with the set was it was very breakable. Also no support for the fighter. Now on to pros and cons. |
