BrickWars Sets Description Lego Star Wars 4481 Hailfire Droid is from Star Wars Episode II: “Attack of the Clones”. The IG-227 Hailfire Droid Tank or Wheel Droid deployed during the Clone Wars was extremely effective in penetrating armored vehicles. The concept of the Hailfire Droid built on a mobile missile platform with two hooped wheels on either side, allowed it to operate on practically any terrain at high rates of speed. Equipped with a pair of missile launchers, each missile rack held fifteen guided warheads capable of inflicting extensive damage to enemy targets. One vulnerable target of the Hailfire Droid is the Republic AT-TE due its slow moving characteristics, sustained heavy damage during the Clone Wars. A precision guided missile from the Hailfire Droid can completely destroy this armored vehicle.
The Lego 4481 Hailfire Droid contains 681 pieces and includes no minifigures.

Reviews Posted November 16, 2008 by THEBIGNOOB. United States Lego star wars 4481 hailfire droidPros: this starwars Legos set is one of my favorites because it actually resembles the real hail fire droid from the Star Wars movie. It had big wheels that could move well on any flat surface especially carpet. The weapons on the hail fire droid look very realistic, just like in the movie. Cons: It was a very difficult leggo to build because there were so many pieces. If you get one piece wrong it will be all messed up. The rockets on the hailfire droid don’t actually fire like in the movie, which was kind of disappointing. On a scale to one to ten I rate this set 7/10. Besides all that is set 4481 is a really good set, I recommend it for hard core Lego fans out there! :D |

Posted August 23, 2008 by LEGOFAN, United States Star Wars Lego set #4481 Hailfire Droid: I've never actually played with this set. It's my brother's set, and he hates it when I touch his stuff. Heh heh. But here's what I think anyways.Pros: Cons: Seeing my brother play with it all the time, I'd say it has great playability. It has great detail, and since it's made of Technic Legos, it really DOES look like a droid! I give it a 7/10. |
