BrickWars Sets Description Lego Star Wars 7134 A-Wing Fighter from “Return of the Jedi” a RZ-1 interceptor designed by the Rebel Alliance during the Galactic Civil War. The A-Wing was one of the fastest interceptors in the galaxy, even faster than the TIE Interceptor. The A-Wing was simply a cockpit connected to twin Event Horizon engines. These were the most powerful sublight thrusters coupled with highly sensitive controls. It required a pilot with exceptional skill to operate one of these vessels to prevent it from spinning out of control. The A-Wing’s mounted laser cannons were able to rotate up and down sixty degrees for better fire control. With modification, the guns could rotate a complete 360 degrees to fend off pursuing fighters. Although, the A-Wing had speed, agility, and special features, however, it did not have an astromech droid to manage weapon systems, navigation and perform repairs thus requiring attention from the pilot. The A-Wing has a cramped cockpit accommodating smaller pilots, which prevented larger pilots from flying the A-Wing. Given the design, constraints of the A-Wing fighter and exposed cockpit strained even the best pilot.
The Lego 7134 A-Wing Fighter contains 123 pieces and includes 2 minifigures.

Reviews Posted August 23, 2008 by LEGOFAN, United States Star Wars Lego set #7134: When I was younger I liked combining this set with all my other fighters... with the B-Wing, X-Wing and Y-Wing fighters. Since they were all different colors (red, orange-blue, tan-red, yellow-white) they looked so cool lined up for repairs! But this is what I like about the A-Wing, and what I don't:Pros: Cons: The Rebel starfighters altogether! Can't get much better than that. 9/10.
