BrickWars Sets Description Lego 7868 Mace Windu's Jedi Starfighter was a Delta-7 Aethersprite-class light interceptor, commissioned just before the start of the Clone Wars. It was a highly advanced starfighter for its time. However, it was a costly ship to manufacture. It was primarily Jedi such as Mace Windu who used these ships, as their abilities and reflexes allowed them to optimize the ship's capabilities. It was armed with Taim Co. sds8/5 twin laser cannons and equipped with a hyperdrive and deflector shields. It was operated by a pilot and astromech, though either could independently take control of the ship. These ships were stationed in the hangar bays of the Jedi Temple on Coruscant and were assigned to all field Jedi during the Clone Wars. Ones with turquoise color schemes indicated that they were general-use starfighters. The ones painted with red color schemes indicated that they were for use by specific Jedi only. Throughout the Clone Wars, however, Jedi would modify their fighters with different armaments, equipment, and paint schemes as well. Mace Windu customized his starfighter with a red and white paint scheme.Geonosian speeder bikes, also known as Flitknot speeders, were speeder bikes used by Geonosians during the Clone Wars. Although they were designed and used by Geonosians, the speeder could be easily piloted by non-Geonosians. It was equipped with an ion engine. The standard speeder's primary role was reconnaissance, and it could be used to motorize infantry units. Ones intended for combat were equipped with a blaster cannon. Tactical droids used this speeder on several occassions during the Clone Wars. STAPs, or single trooper aerial platforms, were swift, compact flying vehicles used by the Trade Confederation's and the Confederacy's B1 battle droids. It was used for civilian and military purposes, and as such was armed with only twin blaster cannons. They were ideal for search-and-destroy missions as well as escort units. In battle, they were often used to harass the enemy with their speed and agility.
The Lego 7868 Mace Windu's Jedi Starfighter contains 313 pieces and includes 5 minifigures. The set is not available in the United States. It is currently only available in Europe.
