BrickWars Sets Description The Lego 7877 Naboo Fighter was also known as the Naboo Royal N-1 Starfighter. Its sleek design is attributed to Naboo's love of aerodynamic shapes, as is its chrome finish on the front half of the ship. Such traits can also be seen in Padme Amidala's personal starship. The Naboo fighter was manufactured by the Theed Palace Space Vessel Engineering Corps. It is armed with twin laser cannons and a proton torpedo launcher. The starfighter only required one pilot and an astromech droid. The people of Naboo were greatly committed to the maintaining of the fragile ecology of their world. Thus, their dedication also showed in the build of this starfighter; its engines burned fuel a much higher temperatures, greatly reducing harmful emissions. A young Anakin Skywalker piloted a Naboo fighter during the Battle of Naboo. As he was being persued by Trade Federation droid forces, he and R2-D2 fled into the cockpit of one of the fighters. He escaped the hangar and made his way into space, where he played an instrumental role in destroying the Trade Federation droid control ship.
The Lego 7877 Naboo Fighter contains 318 pieces and includes 6 minifigures.
