BrickWars Sets Description

The Lego 7879 Hoth Echo Base was one of the Rebel Alliance's secret bases. Hidden under a layer of snow and thick snowstorms, the base was not located immediately by the Empire and gave the Alliance just enough time to regroup. To patrol the surrounding areas for Imperial reconnaisance forces, the Rebels used snowspeeders and tauntauns. The Empire eventually discovered their base and sent down a massive invasion force in hopes of finally crushing the Rebel Alliance. The Rebels fought hard and took on heavy casualties to allow time for the entire base to evacuate - namely their transports. They were successful in doing so, but their losses were so great that it was considered a lost battle. Among the Rebels who escaped were Han Solo, Chewbacca, Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, C-3PO and R2-D2.
