Lego 7964 Republic Frigate was a Consular-class cruiser, heavily modified for combat. Also known as a Charger c70 retrofit, the starship was built by the Corellian Engineering Corporation. The ship was relatively narrow. It widened as it got closer to the three large engines in the rear. It was equipped with an onboard hyperdrive system, as well as shielding and escape pods. Unlike the Consular-class cruiser, it was armed with five twin light turbolaser cannon batteries and two point defense medium laser cannons. The ship was painted with a unique red pattern and was not painted completely to differentiate from the Consular-class model. It also bore the emblem of the Open Circle Fleet, a major armada in the Galactice Republic's Navy commanded by Jedi Generals Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker. The frigate was typically manned by clone pilots and officers and served as transports for troops and supplies.
