BrickWars Sets Description Lego Technic Star Wars 8000 Pit Droid is a DUM-series pit droid used for repair and light construction. They were commonly very small, standing at about 1.19 meters tall. Regardless of their size, they could easily carry objects ten times their own size and weight. A pit droid had an ON/OFF mode. To activate the droid, one would tap its 'nose,' and vice versa when deactivating it. When off, the droid would be folded into a compact disc shape. These droids saw extensive use on Tatooine, namely by Watto at the Boonta Eve classic, where they worked on and repaired podracers.
The Lego Technic 8000 Pit Droid contains 217 pieces and includes no minifigures.

Reviews Posted August 23, 2008 by LEGOFAN, United States Star Wars Lego set #8000: It's a neat little set, and like the other Technic Star Wars Lego characters, this set has quite a few neat features and accessories. Here's my opinion:Pros: Cons: None This set doesn't have the kind of playability most other Star Wars Legos do, but then again, none of these types of models really do. However, when they are put on a shelf, for example, to be displayed, they are great additions to any collections. Based on this, I rate it an 8/10. | |||
