BrickWars Sets Description Lego Technic Star Wars 8001 Battle Droid was one of many battle droids that made up the bulk of the Trade Federation and Separatist armies. They were likely the most expendable and numerous soldiers in all of galactic history. Unlike organic soldiers, they could fight on almost any terrain or climate, like underwater or space. Battle droids were designed for cheap mass-production, and thus were very weak and vulnerable. Nonetheless, this gave them the capability of swarming in numbers. They spoke in monotonous, high pitched mechanical voices. Battle droids were often armed with E-5 blaster rifles, sometimes blaster pistols, and rarely thermal detonators. The Lego Technic 8001 Battle Droid contains 328 pieces and includes no minifigures.

I like the backpack you put on the droid that has the gun holder and the antenna. Pros: Magnetic gun you can connect to arm by turning the back gear. You can fold the droid up for easy storage and it looks like it does in the MTT in the first movie. You can change the type of droid: Commander droid with yello pieces, Security with red pieces, and the regular droid with only tan pieces. There are a lot of replacement rubber bands. Cons: The droid can't stand very good without support. Rubber bands can snap. Droid often unfolds unexpectedly. I give this set a 7/10 rating

Here's what I think: Pros: Cool blaster draw feature Folds up to use minimal storage space Cons: Flimsy rubber bands; if they break the battle droid can't even stand up I've personally never played too much with this set, but based on what I know, I give this set a 6/10.
