Lego Technic Star Wars 8008 Stormtrooper was an elite shock trooper of the Galactic Empire. Originally clone troopers, they were renamed stormtroopers by Palpatine's Declaration of a New Order. As time passed, however, the original Jango Fett clone-based template troopers began dying off or retiring and were subsequently replaced by recruits, exclusively, human recruits. This was an obvious sign of the New Order's High Human Culture. Stormtroopers, without the guidance of the Jedi, quickly built a reputation for mercilessness, destructiveness and endlessness when enforcing the new Imperial doctrine. They reminded people that they were extensions of the Emperor's will, and that fear ruled over them. Stormtroopers were typically armed with BlasTech E-11 blaster rifles and wore plastoid-composite body armor. All stormtroopers were forced to wear these black and white outfits for uniformity with no color for distinguishing rank, which the clones had done previoiusly under the Jedi Order.
