BrickWars Sets Description

Lego Techinic Star Wars 8010 Darth Vader was once Anakin Skywalker, a human Jedi Knight who served the Galactic Republic. He later became Darth Vader, Dark Lord of the Sith; in trying to save his wife, Padme Amidala from dying, he sought the Sith powers Palpatine had told him about, powers he could use to prevent Padme's death. But he was driven to the dark side in utter rage, losing sight of his original goal. In an intense battle between Anakin and his former master, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin lost his legs and his remaining arm and was severely burned on Mustafar. However, he was returned to the Emperor, who had him "repaired." He was fitted with new prosthetic limbs and a suit of body armor that would hold him for the rest of his life. Thus, he truly became Darth Vader.
