BrickWars Sets Description Lego 8096 Star Wars Emperor Palpatine's Shuttle was a Theta-class T-2c shuttle used by Chancellor Palpatine for attending to off-world matters. This transport shuttle was a tri-winged ship with folding wings, and as such is considered to be the predecessor of the Lamda-class shuttle, otherwise known as the Imperial shuttle. The Theta-class shuttle was capable of maintaining high levels of security, as it was equipped with strong shielding fields, weapons consisting of two quad laser cannons at the front of the craft and a rear laser cannon, powerful sublight engines, and a Class 1 hyperdrive. If its speed could not get it out of harm's way, it had weapons to rely on. However, Palpatine's shuttle was different. He had his upgraded by Warthan's Wizards, the best starship technicians during the Clone Wars era. A hyperwave reflector and sensor masks were added. The hyperwave reflector was used for trans-galactic communication, and its quality rivaled even Jedi homing devices. The sensor masks hid the secrets Palpatine kept in his ship from conventional scanners. Additionally, his shuttle was escorted by two elite V-wing fighters, equipped with improved shields and their own hyperdrives.
The Lego 8096 Emperor Palpatine's Shuttle contains 592 pieces and includes 4 minifigures.

Reviews Posted August 8, 2011 by NervousWrek, United States Hello, this is my review on the terrible lego star wars set Emperor Palpatine's Shuttle.I hate this set because the shuttle is to small and undetailed,it does not scale to minifigures, there is no Darth Vader or Royal Guard minifigure, interior is to small and undetailed, cockpit interior is undetailed, medical bed is to small and undetailed, landing gear is to short, the roof breaks everything when opened, the shuttle breaks to easy, and has no fun extras(like flick-fire missiles). Here are the pros of the set
