BrickWars Sets Description

The Lego 9491 Geonosian Cannon, also known as the LR1K sonic cannon, was a high-power artillery unit used by the Geonosians during the Clone Wars. It utilized the same sonic technology as the Geonosians' blasters. The internal oscillators of the cannon are capable of producing a powerful sonic blast. When fired, the energy of the sonic blast remains contained in a sphere until it makes contact with a target, wherein the sphere bursts and releases an omnidirectional blast. The cannon required two individuals to operate - Geonosians and battle droid gunners often filled in these roles. The cannon also had very advanced and highly accurate targeting computers, which sometimes allowed one individual to operate the cannon. The cannon was manufactured by Gordarl Weaponsmiths, the same company that also manufactured the Geonosians' weapons, such as the sonic blaster and static pike.
