Lego Technic Star Wars 9754 Dark Side Developer Kit was a Lego Mindstorms set that features two main models, a motorized destroyer droid and motorized AT-AT walker.
The Destroyer Droid was a heavy battle droid used by the Trade Federation and later the Separatists. They were well known for their resilience, superior firepower, and intimidation. They were usually deployed in moderation, due to their cost. After the Clone Wars and the fall of the Separatists, these droids fell into the hands of mutiple factions. The reasons why they were more formidable than B1 battle droids was because of their ability to transform into a sphere-shaped configuration, which allowed for rapid movement and compact storage. When in battle, they could project their own deflector shields that protected them from blaster fire and even lightsabers. Their superior firepower made them much more powerful than other battle droids; their arms were practically built-in twin blasters.
The AT-AT Walker was a formidable behemoth war machine of the Imperial fleet. The AT-AT standing at a staggering height of 22.5 meters, was a heavily armored vehicle. Although, a slow moving machine, nevertheless, it struck fear in hearts of the enemy. Most certainly a force to be reckoned with, demoralizing the enemy and literally crushing everything in its path. The AT-AT was used to transport Imperial troops and light vehicles into the combat zone. It can accommodate up to forty Stormtroopers or Imperial Assault Troopers and five Speeder bikes.
